The Young Nomads are always pleased to gain new technical members, and what better place to show off your talents, or gain experience, than in a very well equipped amateur theatre.  The theatre where we are based, the Nomad Theatre, includes a revolving stage, fly tower with hand and counterweight lines, 48 channel lighting rig, and a powerful surround sound system.

Technical roles available within the Young Nomads include:

• Lighting designers and operators
• Sound engineers and operators
• Set designers and builders
• Stage managers and deputy stage managers
• Stage hands
• Fly men

There is also a variety of work at the front of house.  For every performance, we require:

• Two Front of House stewards
• One or two box office staff
• At least two bar staff

If you would like to be more involved in the organisation of a Young Nomad production, it is also possible to progress to the following roles:

• Director
• Producer
• Musical Director
• Choreographer
• Writer
